About the walk
The Encinitas Scenic Coastal Reflection Walk along the beach is a 2.4 mile loop that offers coastal scenery, reflection viewpoints and access to a meditation garden filled with beautiful plants. Destinations are the Moonlight State Beach, Swami's Beach Seaside Park, the Self-Realization Fellowship Garden, and the J Street Viewpoint.
Make sure to check the tides before taking the beach route. This route consists of beach sand, staircases, neighborhood sidewalks, and garden pathways, with a small incline on K Street.
If you would like to visit the Self-Realization Fellowship Garden, make sure to plan your walk around daily hours (9am to 5pm Tuesday-Saturady and Sunday 11am-5pm; the garden is closed on Mondays).
