About the Walk

Adams Avenue runs east to west through Normal Heights, Antique Row and Kensington. San Diego’s Antique Row offers unique shops to browse and cafes in which to dine. To help you brush up on your geography and history, most street in this area are named after states or presidents. The walk along Adams Avenue is a 2-mile loop that offers the opportunity to take home things from the past. Antique and vintage destinations along the way are Hood Antiques, Zac’s Attic, Antique Row Cafe and the Folk Arts Rare Records. Make sure to check business hours if you plan on stopping at any of the points of interest.

It consists of primarily flat sidewalks with minor elevation near the Texas Street Overpass Bridge. Watch your step as these sidewalks are pretty old.
